Dean Trumbull is a highly energetic and accomplished Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) with extensive experience in premise, cloud, and hybrid security consulting. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dean has been self-employed at Trumbull Security Services since April 2016, providing top-tier security solutions to a diverse range of clients in the financial services industry.

With certifications as a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Dean has a profound understanding of data classification, policies, controls, and procedures. He specializes in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk intelligence and management, and disaster recovery planning. Dean is highly proficient in industry standards and frameworks, including NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST Privacy Framework, FDIC-SSP, FFIEC Cyber Security Framework, and NCUA | ACET.

Before establishing Trumbull Security Services, Dean held several executive roles, including Vice President and COO of Managed Security Services Provider Global DataGuard (now part of Comcast Communications) and Division General Manager at Intel Corporation. His leadership and strategic vision have consistently driven organizational growth and innovation.

Dean's engineering expertise is further highlighted by his contributions to software development and telecommunications. He holds two US patents: "Systems and Methods of Identity and Access Management" and "Transmission of Voice over an Asynchronous Network." Dean is also listed as the primary contributor for 77 patents in VoIP and Telecommunications held by Cisco Systems.
